sound cannot exist if it doesn't have something to travel through? For example, sound cannot travel through outer space because it is a vacuum that contains nothing to carry sound. if my answer did did help you then plz mark it as brainliest :)

sripulijhu: and what about infrasonic.....does it make any difference??
arzu22786: as we know that we have hearing range form 20 to 20000Hz..
arzu22786: below and above that we are not able to hear, but animals such as bat are capable of producing ultrasound and infrasonic weapons are also made . so therefore any range of sound cannot travel without a medium that is vaccum.
arzu22786: and if there is no medium, the sound cannot travel ........
arzu22786: plz mark it as the brainliest
arzu22786: did u get that right??

The intensity of ultra sound decreases in glass medium because the
Refractive index changes from one medium to the other and the refractive index of gases is more than that of air meduum
Also when it enters the glass medium the wave length of ultra sound decreases

sripulijhu: i am not asking anything about glass...well thnx
