Why does the kosi river bring such huge quantity of sediments from the upper reaches?

Kosi river originates from the part of Himalaya which is comparatively younger than other path and result of that it Erodes more sediments then or the river. also it gets steeper in slope in upper course of the river which increases its sediment carrying capacity by increasing river's velocity.
