Why does the length of shadow vary at different point of time in a day?

it is because shadow is formed from different angles by the light of sun so the size of shadow varies ex. u can use torch as sun and take a stick to form a shadow move the torch as sun moves u will find that the shadow will become shorter some times and bigger some times from different angles
