Answer:

When the child gets lost,he is inconsolable.He is panic strucken and full of fear.The fair has no charm,no meaningfor him.It is here that the child realized his priority-he did not want anything at the fair,he only wanted his parents and loses interests in the things he wanted earlier.

When he was with his parents he was having a desire for all beautiful things. But when he found that he was lost, he lost his interest in all the things he wanted before. Only his parents were important to him.  A gentleman offered him all those things which he wanted before. The child refuses all the offers by the gentleman. As for the child, only important was his parents. The gentleman was trying to make the child happy by offering him beautiful things. The child was crying for his mother and father.
