why does the level of water not change when salt is dissolved in water

As it totally dissolves around it's gaps because of its solubility.So level doesn't change.

the level of water doesnt increase when salt is dissolved because water has inter molecular spaces between water molecules and salt molecules occupy the intermolecular spaces in water so the water level doesnot increase
