it's pulled up because of atmospheric pres
sure

Umarani123: a syringe is a device in which when we pull the plunger the air pressure in syringe decreases and atmospheric pressure acting on surface of liquid it is greater which forces liquid to rise in syringe.

As there is low pressure in syringe than the liquid kept in a medical bottle. So when the piston is pulled, the vaccum area is created. If we pull the syringe, while its needle is kept in bottle touching the liquid, due to vaccum area, the liquid rises.
