why does the medium become acidic in mouth ?what is its ill effect?how it can be prevented

a medium become acidic in mouth because of enzyme salivary amalyses ... because when it food it react with it and form acidic medium but sometimes after eating food we donot eash our mouth and acidic medium got stuck with tooth and form tooth enamel ..... to prevent it we should brush 3 times a day
so thqt it could stuck and too wash our mouth properly
so that they donot form tooth enamel
