I think the question should have been why does the metal block feel different weight when immersed in different liquid.
Metal block immersed in a liquid experiences a upward force called buoyant force or thrust, due to which objects appear to loose weight.
Upthrust depends on density of liquid.
If Density of liquid in which metal box is immersed is more then object experiences more buoyant force.
Hence metal block feel different weight when immersed in different liquids.
