Why does the mirror itself by saying I am not cruel.

The mirror itself is saying that Iam not cruel because it personifies itself and says that whatever it sees it reflects,it reflects all the truth .It is a God of little eye ,who never discriminates in showing the people their reflection.Mirror is not like candle and moons who did not say the reality of person makes person impressed.Mirror don't impress anybody but shows all the reality of a person.
