THE NORTHERN PLAINS HAS A CONTINENTAL TYPE OF CLIMATE BECAUSE IT IS FAR AWAY FROM OCEAN. SO , THE CLIMATE HERE WOULD BE EXTREMELY HOT OR EXTREMELY COLD.
THE MONSOON RAINS ARE UNEVENLY DISTRIBUTED OVER INDIA DUE TO PRESENCE OF RELIEF FEATURES SUCH AS HIMALAYA, ARAVALLI RANGE ETC.
