Why does the pH of the mouth change after taking

meals ? What harm is associated with it and how can

The pH of mouth turns acidic after meals this harms our teeth resulting in tooth decay........hence we use toothpaste which is basic in nature to neutralize this effect.

Taking meals continuously increase saliva's pH as acidic
