Explanation:

The TV works with electric charge. When we switch on the TV the electric charge flows from the power and makes the TV to work. These electric charges are composed of electron which follows a programmed path.

When a bar magnet is bought is bought closer to the TV screen, the motion of these electrons gets affected due to the creation of magnetic force and this causes distortion in the picture which leads to a wave like motion of the image and thus creates disturbance.
