Poet is quite adventurous and wants to go apart from others. He thinks to leads rather than to follow the people who chose the first road. He thinks that being the only one travelling on the lonely road, he could discover new things that the other people missed to do so. He kept the first road for other day, though, he knew he could never come back to fulfill his wish, At the end of the poem, the poet sighed, of which we are not aware of as of regretion or satisfaction.
