why does the poet in the poem The Song Of The Rain compare the rain to the sign of the sea and the laughter of the field

As the rain falls on see it makes the sigh of the sea.
And the fields wanted water and when it falls of fields it looks likr the fields are laughing

The rain is joyful and rejoicing and it is compared to the sign of the sea because the rain falls on the land bringing greenery everywhere and the thirst is also met .
