WHY DOES THE POET NOT WANT TO GIVE MONEY TO THE BOY TO BUY ANOTHER BALL ? POEM: THE BALL POEM

the poet does not want to give money because he wants the boy to learn the value of loss in life. losses would keep coming but it is up to us to overcome such losses.

just like that the boy had many memories of his childhood to the ball.

even though he could get a new ball he would then take it for granted because here the values are important and not the bal

Bcoz poet wants that the boy should feel that what's the value of life and what the main things are... Bcoz we can't buy happiness with money...
