The poetess used to laugh a lot at her mother's false teeth. But she regretted it as her teeth were destroyed too becoz of eating sticky food. She realized that even after seeing her mother she didn't learn anything to protect her teeth. If instead of laughing she had learnt something then her teeth could've been healthy
