because this story was about two paths and if he had chosen the less traveled one and has became successful , that means the choice he had made was correct. And what if he chose the wrong one what if he had chosen that one which was more traveled and he had not succeeded and had failed.
So its all about his choice made at that time so he had told the story with a sigh.
