❇ The Poet said that the sea holiday was her past but her was her mother's laughter. She said because according to her, the sea holiday was her mother's past. And the laughing moments of her mother's enjoyment which were captured in the Photograph were now becoming only a past for the poet. Because her mother is not alive now.. And her laughing moments are only past which the poet could remorse.

Time spares none!. Gone are children days of the poet's mother.'The sea holiday' become 'her past'. The photograph flashes back to the scene that was captured about thirty years ago. Gone is the carefree laughter of the sweet girl who was just twelve or so at that time. For the poet the laughter of the mother has also become a thing of the past.
