why does the postmaster send money to lencho ? why does he sing the letter god.​

Answer: Postmaster was mesmerized after watching Lencho's such strong faith on God. He hoped that he could also have same faith just like lencho. So to maintain this faith postmaster sent money on this act of charity to Lencho.

He signed the letter as GOD to do same (to maintain lencho's faith).

The postmaster wondered at Lencho's deep faith in god he did not want to shake his faith and disillusion . he therefore sent the money so that he would believe that god granted his request .

He signed the letter God so that Lencho would believe  that it was really god who sent the letter to him with the money.
