because...rain fall...causes when..the... monsoon air flow jits himalaya....amd
..starts rain from the north-east side if india....and then backs through tha same way...then..the... water level in..the air.. gradually decreases

The Baynof Bengal branch of South-west monsoon moves towards north east carrying more moisture and they give heavy rainfall in this region. As they move towards west, they carry less moisture and many turns into snow due to Himalayan mountains resulting in decrease in rainfall in West.
