pressure = Force /Area
it means pressure is inversely proportional to Area .
if cross section is minimum then pressure exert maximum .
know, you see cross section area of knife is lesser than cross section area of flat surface of spoon. so , pressure exerted by knife is greater then pressure exerted by flat surface of a spoon
