when put in water for long our cells of fingers absorb water by the process of osmosis and our fingers get expanded from some places and when put in water for too long our servers contract and make some irregular pattern on our fingers.some of our cells even burst due to excess absorption.

The washing solution, therefore, results in exosmosis in the skin cells that come in contact with it for some time. Due to this reason, the skin over the fingers shrinks while washing clothes for a long time.
