the sky appears blue due to following reasons
- as the sun rays reaches to earths atomsphere so these rays get scattered
- on that time the distance travelled by suns rays are least or the distance b/w earth and sun decreases
- so the light get scattered of slower speed such as voilet , indigo , blue get scattered thats why it appears blue
