Due to presence of the atmosphere on the earth , and scattering of light occurs in day time and the blue colour scatters the most , but in the space there is no atmosphere . So, the astronaut couldn't see sky blue , the sky appears black to the astronaut.

The sky appears dark instead of blue to an astronaut, as scattering of light does not take place outside the earth’s atmosphere.
