Why does the speed of light of different colours in glass different and same in vacuum?

in vacuum there is no resistance to speed
in glass there is resistance
as different colors have efferent wavelengths the effect of optical density is different for different colors

Since Glass has its optical Density due to which Light's speed decreases
BuT vacuum does not have any kind of Optical Density
Therefore light passes straight through it Therefore no change in Speed.
