The sperm need to have motility because sperm needs to move through the woman's reproductive tract to reach and fertilize her egg. Sperm motility is the ability of sperm to run effectively and fertilize the egg of woman for reproduction. If sperm mobility slow in some cases it leads to male factor infertility.
