why does the sun appear red in the morning

During sunrise and sunset, light has to travel the farthest than during the other parts of the day to reach the human eye. ... As the shorter wavelengths are scattered, only red light is left, as it has the largest wavelength of the seven colours. Thus the sun appears red during sunrise and sunset.

it appears rrd because at morning the red colour with larger wavelength scatterd least at morning nd evening too so it appears red in some area...... at morning nd evening..
