Hello Dear,

◆ Answer with explaination -

  • Rayleigh scattering is the scattering of light by particles in a medium, without change in wavelength.
  • Early in the morning during sunrise light rays from sun travel a larger part of atmospherre.
  • During this particles in atmosphere scatter most of light rays, except red light which has maximum wavelngth.
  • As most of the light rays reaching us are red, sun appears red during sunrise/sunset.
  • Moon doesn't have atmosphere in order to scatter light, hence Rayleigh scattering won't be observed on the moon.
