The sun doesn't move. The truth is that our Earth move around the sun by rotation and revolution from west to east due to which it seems the sun moves from east to west on the Earth.

Answer:

Earth rotates about its "own axis" from "east to west" due to which not just the sun, but the moon and the stars as well appear to "rise in the east" and approaches "westward" in the sky. The sun is a stationary celestial object, however our earth keeps on rotating on its imaginary axis and simultaneously orbits around the sun. The rotation causes the apparent movement of the sun and the revolution causes seasonal changes.
