because sun is so... hot. so the surrounding of the sun also hot

arjun0009: I think isn't at the same temperature as the sun
arjun0009: space i mean
karuna18: yaa its some wt different to the sun amd its surroundings..
arjun0009: exactly.. That's what I wanted to ask

on sun continuously reactions take place
these reactions are exothermic
so they continuously libert heat n light energy

arjun0009: but things which go near stars do get burnt right?
Vanshikaparmar: yes
Vanshikaparmar: i think so
arjun0009: billions of km apart.. exactly.. that heat wouldn't be concentrated at a point and would spread causing very high temperatures
karuna18: hey star's are more hot then the sun
arjun0009: of course there are stars having surface temperature to 15000 degrees.. almost 3 times of sun
karuna18: yaa
Vanshikaparmar: yeah
arjun0009: and the fascinating thing is that the heat travels through radiation.. so loss of energy is very small
arjun0009: I think someone should pose this question to the genius category people here... Maybe to them question might be silly.
