Why does the sun set in the west???? answer fast plzzz

The Sun Never rise and Never Set the sun is fixed in a position, this is because of rotation and revolution of earth.

The Sun does not (always) set in the West!

Depending on your latitude and the time of year, the Sun could set in any direction or even not set at all for several months. At certain latitudes at certain times of year the Sun can "set" due north or south before rising moments later!

In general in the Southern Hemisphere in Summer the Sun sets South of West and in Winter it sets North of West. And vice-versa in the Northern Hemisphere.

Of course the points of the compass are arbitrarily named, but the root of the English word West is the Latin word for "evening" so the Sun would tend to set in that direction...
