visiting hours of Taj Mahal are sunrise to sunset and it remains close on Friday .

There is a reason as when I visited there one of the guide had told the reason also but I had forgotten that's why I am asking the following question

It remains closed on Fridays for allowing Muslims to go about their prayers in the monument.
