the heat given is utilised in changing the state of matter and not in the change of temperature therfore temperature is constant

2u query is an interesting answer well boiling point is the point where a solid transforms itself to paper phone but melting point is the point when the solid changes its state into liquid form in this we can know that after when the solid changes its state to liquid then only it can change to Vapour indirectly it means that melting point is the highest range that an object can absorb..
