When boiling takes place, the energetic molecules change to gas. They spread and form bubbles. The gas molecules leave the liquid and the heat energy is taken away by them. Therefore the temperature of the boiling water does not rise during boiling.  Hope it helps you. Mark this as brainliest if this helped you.
