why does the temperature remain constant during the boiling of water over though heat is supplied continuously​

BECAUSE of heat was gain by water molecules.... and it constantly increases their kinetic energy

because when the water is boiling it's Maximum Temperature is 100 degrees after this the heat energy is used for the conversion of water into water vapour this is known as latent heat of vapourisation.so why the temperature do not rise
