Due to exosmosis as the solution outside finger has more osmotic concentration and as a result water flows from cell of our finger to outside which results in plasmolysis of finger cells

the skin of our fingers shrink when we wash clothes for a long time because it goes under the process of diffusion when molecule from a region of higher concentration to lower concentration
