Why does the third law of motion doesn't work in space? Why then is it even called a law?

Newtons 3 Law doesn't work in space because every action needs a reaction and in space there is no reaction ! There is no air ! International Space station in not in the space, it is in the orbit and the orbit is not space ! In the orbit action=reaction works but not in sace. According to Newton, whenever objects A and B interact with each other, they exert forces upon each other. ... There are two forces resulting from this interaction - a force on the chair and a force on your body. These two forces are called action and reaction forces and are the subject of Newton's third law of motion.

3rd law is action is always equals to reaction.

Whereas in space we are not in gravity oe gravitational force is not there. So it will be the one of the reason for that.

And it is follow up every where and it is applied in every situation doit is called law
