Why does the trophic levels usually end with the fourth trophic levels

The trophic levels in god's chain last till 3_4 levels because at each level during transferring of energy there is the lose of about 90 percent of energy only 10 percent is transferred to nexel level.afterv3_4 levels tha amount of energy remains very less to transfer to next level.that why the trophic level usually ends with 4 the level.
