The walls, floor and ceilings are covered by sound absorbing materials in cinema hall and auditorium for the following reasons -

• A large amount of sound is produced inside a cinema hall or auditorium.

The soundproof walls let all the produced sounds inside and prevent the noise pollution for the outside environment.

• These sound proof walls also prevent the external noise to create a great environment for listening the sounds of the auditorium or the movie theatres only.
