Why does the WINDWARD side contain a LARGER vegetation than the LEEWARD side ?? And I want the correct answer. No timepass or else I'll report your answer. ​

The windward side of the mountain or mountain ranges is the portion that acts as a obstacle to the wind blowing through that area.

Since the wind is obstructed it moves in upward direction due to which it becomes cooler and condenses.

Because of all the above conditions rainfall occurs on the windward side of mountain.

The quantity of water vapour decreases on the leeward side of mountain and hence gives rise to a rainshadow area.

Vegetation always grows fast and dense if there is adequate supply of water. Hence windward side has larger vegetation than leeward side.
