b. because it diffuses.

c. because particles of matter continuously moving.

d. apple shrinked down because of high density and don't have air packed inside it and the second one whatever it is floating because air is packed inside it and have low density.

Answer:

(a)Coconut oil gets freezed in winters because it has low melting point of around 24°C. If a melting point of a substance is higher than its surrounding temperature, it will exist as solid but if its melting point is lower than its surrounding temperature,it will exist as liquid.

(1)Kerosene left Open in a dish disappears due to the phenomenon called sublimation. sublimation is the process in which sublime objects change into gaseous objects without being converted into liquid state.

(e)This happens due to the phenomenon diffusion.

The smell of the incense stick spreads because of the phenomenon involved which is called as Diffusion.

The particles which are produced after the burning of incense stick , get diffused into the air around the incense stick.

So the smell of the incense stick also spreads with the particles.

And so we get the fragrance of incense sticks all around the room.

In other words the phenomenon in involved in this case is the exchange of airborne media between regions in an apparantly random motion of a small case.
