a. molecules of coconut oil looses it's energy and it's intermolecular force start becoming more and intermolecular space start becoming less. So, it started thickening.
b. because it diffuses.
c. because particles of matter continuously moving.
d. apple shrinked down because of high density and don't have air packed inside it and the second one whatever it is floating because air is packed inside it and have low density.

hope this will help you.

(a)Because coconut oil contain high fat and its melting point is 24°c. That's why coconut oil thickens in winter.
b) kerosene open in a dish disappears because it absorbs heat from its surrounding and get vapourise.
(c) When we light an incense stick in one corner of room its fragrance spread in whole room because of the process involved DIFFUSION. It is because particles of matter are continuously moving in the air. Its parties vigourously spread and we can smell its fragnance in the whole room.
(d)i see in the picture that ball is floating on the water because it have less density as compare to water in the area where ball is floating whereas apple do not because it have high density as compare to water in that area where it sinks.

Hope it helps you✌✌✌✌......
