Valli refuses to look out of the window on her way back from the town because she sees a young cow lying dead by the roadside. It has been struck by some fast moving vehicle. She recalls that it was the same cow that was running in front of the bus while it was on his way to the town. The sight of the dead cow depresses her.

Answer: Valley was enjoying her bus ride but on the return journey she saw a young cow lying dead By the roadside. it was the same cow that was running in front of the bus .the cow had been struck by some fast moving vehicle and now it lay lifeless .it looks so horrible and frightening with its legs spread- eagled, a fixed stare in its lifeless eyes and blood all over. all the excitement that she fell for her trip was over and she refused to look out of the window on the way back to the village
