Vikram Seth while penning down his story “Kathmandu” says it is one the noisiest and busiest place in the hills of the Himalayas.
The loudspeakers were echoed the Hindi film music.
There as the horn of the cars and the bikes, the moo sounds of the cows and the screams of the vendors.
But according to him, the flute sound stood apart from them and gave a different ambiance to him.
That’s why he called it universal and popular.
