Why does visibility increase after it rains? Explain.

With rain the tiny dust particles , polluted air and gaseous smoke particles suspended in the air get washed down. These suspended particles is responsible for low visibility and cause of air pollution. As these suspended pollutants get washed down with rain, the visibility improves.
