Water appears colorless because it is a type of gas which is tasteless, colorless and odourless.

Question = Why does water appear colorless?

Answer= water is colorless because of the presence of dissolve oxygen, to evaporate relasing oxygen, in the gaseous form &millions of small water bubbles formed which gives the white colour to the water.

And also some times because of scattering of white light,
But water's tint becomes blue cause of thickness of layer of water ,
