why does water flow in a trickle in summer in most places in india

Because level of ground water reduces due to the heat of the sun(sun eveporates water and their is less rainfall in summer which increase the level of water). As it make difficult for us to get water from ground through pipes because during summer water flow is trickle.Hope this helps...
