why does water have the highest specific heat capacity of all liquids lol?

The atoms in the water molecules are bonded very strongly together through hydrogen bond. The amount of energy required to break these bonds is very high. Thus, a lot of heat has to be supplied to raise the temp. of water. As a result, water has the highest specific heat capacity of all liquids.
