see first we have to think why we call our mom, mom.

we call our mom mom because she gave us birth without any greed. she feeds us and makes us able to understand the world so similarly earth supports life it is the only planet which supports life earth gives us food, shelter, etc all the necessary things need for the survival that's why we call earth our mother. and there is no reason to not call it our mother.
