Answers
William Wordsworth ask the paddlers by to go gently in the poem solitary reaper as the highland lass is singing a song and so she doesn't gets disturbed.
Summary of the poem "The Solitary Reaper " by William Wordsworth.
The poet was passing by the fields where he heard a highland lass singing a song and reaping grains. The song was melodious and was sang more beautifully than a nightingale or a cuckoo. The poet didn't knew in what language the maid was singing in but he could recognize by the tune that it was a sad song. At the last stanza he mentioned that he couldn't stay there forever and listen the song but the song will always be there in his heart
So that the maid who was singing in the field doesn't gets disturbed and can continue her beautiful song
